At Z Beauty Academy & Spa, we regularly treat people in their 20s and 30s who come to us for preventative BOTOX®. Your BOTOX® Treatment

All BOTOX® treatments are performed by Imtiaz Memon, MD, PA-C. Imtiaz is a graduate of Miami Dade College, class of 2012. As a certified international medical graduate physician and physician assistant, Imtiaz has worked at the local emergency departments in the St Petersburg area, where he handled patients from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Your BOTOX® treatment is performed in our office without anesthesia. BOTOX® injections take only a few minutes and can be done during your lunch hour with no disruption to your normal day.

Before your procedure, ice is used to numb the treatment area so that your procedure is as comfortable as possible. A topical numbing cream is also available for those who want it. Once the area is prepped, BOTOX® is carefully injected using very thin needles. The amount of BOTOX® used will depend on the level of correction needed and your cosmetic goals. The injection process takes only a few minutes and most people find it very comfortable.

After treatment, you may notice some slight redness, bruising, or swelling where BOTOX® was injected. These side effects are usually mild and go away in a few days. BOTOX® starts working immediately, but you won’t see the final results from your treatment for about 1 to 2 weeks. The effects of BOTOX® can last between 3 to 6 months before a touch-up treatment is needed.
